The Social Pressures Got To Me
In 2019, I was working in big banks as a financial analyst on the trading floor. I never wanted to work in this job, but my school, society, friends, and family all made me believe that this high-paying, “prestigious” corporate job was the only way to move forward in life.
I hated every single second of those jobs, yet I kept working there because I did not know what else to do and feared being outcasted by my peers.
I Gave Up $100,000 and Quit My Bank Job
After a year of working in a bank, I received a full-time job offer worth 6-figures.
At that moment, I had to decide - do I accept a job that I hate but that will make everybody respect me?
Or do I quit that job and go all-in on making a living doing something I love (even though I didn’t know what that thing was yet)?
I quit my job. But everybody else that I knew who hated their corporate job… said yes.
The Sprouht Epiphany
When I decided what business to start, I tried thinking of the biggest problem in my world.
“Why are so many people working in jobs and living lives they aren’t satisfied with, while others do?”
The answer is, without a doubt, the difference in mindset. Those who know who they are and what they want are those who wind up following their truest path.
Yet 99.5% of us have no idea where to start. And with that, Sprouht was born.
From Viewless to 3M+ Community
For 2.5 years after quitting my job, I taught myself how to make videos online and failed miserably. It was when I started street interviewing, that everything changed.
To date, we’ve interviewed 1,000+ people in 35+ countries. The Dalai Lama, billionaires, 100+ year olds… you name it.
And we’ve built an online community of over 3M people in 140+ countries.
It didn’t come right away, but nothing good ever does. And it was the same mindset I used to quit my job that pushed me to stick with Sprouht until the magic appeared.
